Food Intolerance Testing

We are pleased to offer a new food sensitivity test, Novo by Immogenics, which offers benefits of significant weight loss and energy gain. The Novo programme is a blood test which diagnoses a person’s inflammatory response to food. The results are laid out in an individually designed eating programme which is followed for a minimum of 5 weeks.

The diagnosis of foods causing inflammation and the removal of them from the diet has been shown to help weight loss, increase energy and improve a range of other conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, migraines and psoriasis. Many doctors have also reported improvements in patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and type II diabetes who take the Novo test.

Other benefits are: improvements in symptoms caused by inflammation, e.g. skin problems, results are achieved quickly therefore motivation is easily maintained, there is no calorie counting and is easy to follow and use and fit into lifestyles, it advocates healthy eating and a balanced approach to eating, it is tailored to each individual.

A blood sample is taken which is then sent to the Immogenics laboratory for testing against 115 food groups using state of the art laser technology. The individual behaviour of over 4 million white and red blood cells is monitored. The results are usually available within a week and are sent to the client together with a full range of support services.

The support of a fully qualified nutritionist together with in-depth personalised notes are part of the service.
